You raise me up!

Although I am very new to the UK, and had to deal with a fairly unattractive job market during the summer time, with recruiters having fun in Ibiza and the Al(l)garve, I cannot stop feeling trapped and depressed at times for not getting a job in a reasonable time frame. I am too much of an active person and although I bear in mind that I have been unemployed in Portugal for a longer period than here in the UK, I cannot stop feeling this pain and stress cumulated within me.
I know some days everything comes onto me and I just want to cry out loud:"Why me? When will I have some piece of mind?". You may think I am being too hard on my self or even overeacting, but I have been too many times down that road and at a certain point it starts to get you.

Notwithstanding all this, I am glad there is always someone, somewhere, even if many kms away, ready to jump in and drag me out of my misery, with tender words and a heartful advice.

For being there, always, I would like to express my gratitude. This lioness sometimes has her moments, but each time any of you guys stretch your hands and spread your love, I am bound to raise myself up. Therefore, this one is dedicated to you all...

"You raise me up", an original from Secret Garden, here by Celtic Woman, my favourite version so far.

When I am down and, oh my soul, so weary;
When troubles come and my heart burdened be;
Then, I am still and wait here in the silence,
Until you come and sit awhile with me.

You raise me up, so I can stand on mountains;
You raise me up, to walk on stormy seas;
I am strong, when I am on your shoulders;
You raise me up: To more than I can be.

You raise me up, so I can stand on mountains;
You raise me up, to walk on stormy seas;
I am strong, when I am on your shoulders;
You raise me up: To more than I can be.

There is no life - no life without its hunger;
Each restless heart beats so imperfectly;
But when you come and I am filled with wonder,
Sometimes, I think I glimpse eternity.

You raise me up, so I can stand on mountains;
You raise me up, to walk on stormy seas;
I am strong, when I am on your shoulders;
You raise me up: To more than I can be.

You raise me up, so I can stand on mountains;
You raise me up, to walk on stormy seas;
I am strong, when I am on your shoulders;
You raise me up: To more than I can be.

Cassandra,
